Earn
Contact Hours
Beacon Health’s seminars and audio conferences, and several
of the educational videos and manuals offer continuing education
credits, known as contact hours, for nurses. The descriptions of
the offerings include contact hours available and instructions.
| To earn contact hours, the participant
must follow the program instructions, which include : |

Participating in the complete seminar or audio
conference, watching the entire video, reading the entire manual,
and/or completing designated exercises, |
| • |
Completing the corresponding test and/or program evaluation,
and |
| • |
Mailing the answer sheet with payment to Beacon Health or
submitting the program evaluation. |
For offerings that include a test, the participant must receive
a passing score of 70% or higher to receive the designated number
of contact hours. If a participant fails, Beacon Health gives him
or her the option of taking the test again at no additional charge.

Approved
Provider
Beacon Health is an approved provider of continuing nursing education
by the Wisconsin Nurses Association Continuing Education Approval
Program Committee, an accredited approver by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Beacon Health is also approved by the California Board of Registered
Nursing, Provider Number 10606, and the Florida Board of Nursing,
Provider Number 50-208.
